
IDIX Idiomas y Traducciones was founded in 1989 as a language services company to cover all the language requirements that companies may require to deal with in their international relations.
To that effect, the Department of Translation and Interpretation and the In-Company Training Department were created. Both departments are managed by experienced professionals in their respective fields, who can assess and offer our clients a quality and personalised service. Likewise, right from the onset we focused our efforts on continuously renovating our products and services with the latest tools and technologies which permitted us to fulfil the requirements of our clients.
As an example of our continuous renovation, our Translation and Interpretation Department is continually incorporating new management and communication technologies to create a state-of-the-art professional infrastructure, which improves and enhances the quality, as well as the management of our services.
To this effort, in 2004 we introduced our EXTRANET, which has been recently upgraded, through which our clients could manage their translation and interpretation projects fast and efficiently, while having constant (24×7) on-line access to their information. Moreover, we also introduced new assisted translation (CAT) tools and term management systems for our translation team.
Our In-Company Training Department has also benefited from this continuous investment in the renovation and increase of teaching materials, which permit us to offer training courses with totally updated contents and always using the latest technical developments. Our courses cover any specific professional requirements that need to be learned or perfected, such as —being at ease in legal or financial environments, giving a presentation, etc.—, so that the students can communicate as efficiently and effectively as in their own language.
